Fathomland Colouring Book x 2

[rev_slider alias=”colouringbook”]

We’ve had some amazing drawings, mostly from the hand and mind of the amazing Fair Fenella Jacquet.  Even though I believe the QiQuac and AutoSalt Manuals to be some of her best work, nowhere do they appear in her portfolio.  What’s up with that?  I ask myself that every… single… day.

Regardless, this beautiful artwork exists, so why not make a colouring book?  30 fun filled pages of low quality rough paper like colouring books should be.    Feel free to colour outside the lines, but you’re sure not going to win the colouring contest at Shoppers Drug Mart, I can tell you that much right now.  Nope, probably somebody who cries when they got a B in physics in Grade 11 and is now probably a doctor will win.  But you might win the Fathomland Colouring Contest and a Free* T-Shirt.

This colouring book actually isn’t a very good deal at $42, I have to be honest.  So I increased it to 2 colouring books.  Honestly, we could charge whatever we want for art and you’d have to pay it.  Plus we have to make up for the losses on the hoodie, which is a good deal at $42.

Check out this work by our first artist, Tove Lennermark

Figure 1. Tove Lennermark has captured QiQuacs shear terror in facing such a large flow creature on a dark and misty night.
Figure 2. Here, Tove expresses the palpable confusion of the flow creature in an homage to the surrealists such as Dali and Magritte. Notice how the artist has blended the purple “measured” flow with the blue “natural” flow raising the question “What is nature?” and “Are WE nature?”
Figure 3: Notice the fine linework and care taken on the red toolbox, purple bottles, and brown tools.  You think that’s easy?  You try!
Figure 4. The Artist Tove Lennermark is 141.5cm tall, likes the colour purple, her dog Bosse, and helping out in the field with the QiQuac and her Dad Mikael.
